Watering your newly planted tree is critical for it's success.

Generously soak your newly planted trees 3 times in the first week. Turn your water on to a slow stream, set the hose at the base of the tree and let it run several minutes.

After the first week, soak your tree once a week until the daytime temperatures are below 70ish degrees. 

More trees die from over watering than under watering, so be sure the ground is dry when you water.

Winter watering is also important. If we are experiencing a warm and/or dry winter, you will need to soak your tree periodically.
